Janelle Gorman
CFO, York IE
Janelle Gorman, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer at York IE where she is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, compliance, and financial operations to support and drive growth. This work extends to the York IE investment portfolio and investment partner accounts. Janelle also works collaboratively with founders and entrepreneurs on financial processes, reporting and analysis, operational management, and strategic growth planning.
Previously, Janelle was the Chief Financial Officer at TRM Microwave, acquired by Quantic. Prior to that, she held key operations and finance roles at Oracle and Dyn, where she was a leader through strategic growth initiatives including several M&A transactions, equity raises, international expansion, and more. Janelle played a key role in financial diligence that resulted in the acquisition of Dyn by Oracle.
Before joining Dyn, Janelle spent the first part of her career as an auditor with the firm Baker Newman Noyes. In addition to her work at York IE, Janelle serves on the audit committee for New Hampshire Catholic Charities and the Investment Committee for Solution Health. Janelle has a BS in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire and holds a CPA license in the state of New Hampshire. She lives in Bedford, NH with her husband and two daughters.

With her dedication to “Raising the Bar for Excellence”, she led MASY BioServices to achieve ISO-9001 certification and NIST / NVLAP ISO-17025 accreditation, solidifying its reputation for operational and industry excellence and competency.

Melissa Florio
President, AMBIX
Melissa Florio is President and Partner of Ambix, a group of companies that provide niche services in the plastics engineering industry, including plastic product design, failure analysis, material selection, prototyping, and on-site contract manufacturing. In 2009, Melissa managed the transition from a premier design firm to a full-contract injection molding manufacturer with ISO 9001 and ITAR certifications and FLL licensing. With thirty years of manufacturing experience focused on human resources and operations, Melissa has built a strong employee team within a lean manufacturing floor that showcases the latest technologies, positioning Ambix to compete in the global markets on price and with high-quality precision parts.
Melissa lives and works in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, where she serves on the Carroll County Communications District Board, the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains District Council, and as Planning Board member in the Town of Freedom. Melissa graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell with a B.A. in Psychology and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She also holds certifications from World at Work and Society of Human Resource Management, where she has written papers and presented on topics such as “Competency Based Succession Planning” and “Smart Staffing.”
