John J. Danahey, Jr., MBA, ICS2 - CC
John is the President of Digital Tech Partners, Inc. (DTP) and Managing Partner – Systems Engineering.
DTP is laser focused on providing expert cybersecurity services to businesses in regulated industries. Most recently he received credentialling from ISC2, Certified Cybersecurity. He is a Registered Practitioner (2496) with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Accreditation Body. Decades of experience with Multi-Billion-Dollar companies, and dozens of continuing education certifications (many of which are security focused) separates John from his peers.
Prior to starting DTP John served eleven years as Department Head of Information Technology Systems Engineering, as well as Department Head of Systems Infrastructure and Operations for MITRE Corporation.
A Veteran (Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and Order of Saint Barbara), and retired First Sergeant with the Massachusetts Army National Guard, his service to the nation and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts spans 23 years.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, an M.B.A., and is currently a candidate for the Master of Science, Systems Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Rob McNellis, Strategic Planner – CSMI
Rob McNellis is a US Army Colonel (Retired), former Brigade Commander, Secretary of the Joint Staff (US European Command), and currently serves as a Strategic Planner for CSMI Technology Services. Rob holds a Master’s Degree in National Security Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Gonzaga University, and is a certified Army Senior Instructor. Rob has over 25 years leading large and diverse organizations worldwide and possesses expertise in optimizing organizations, strategy and planning, cultivating networks and partnerships, implementing metrics and controls, and managing multimillion-dollar budgets. Prior to CSMI, Rob was a 2023 recipient of a Deloitte Senior Veteran Fellowship in Strategy and Analytics. Rob’s hobbies include various sports and music. He currently resides with his family in Montana.
Chris Knox, PMP
Senior Program Manager – CSMI
Chris Knox is a United States Marine Gunnery Sergeant (Retired), former Electro-Optical Repair Specialist, and currently serves as Senior Program Manager at CSMI. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) a CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP) with the Cyber Accreditation Branch. Chris has been supporting CSMIs efforts worldwide since 2008 and has managed projects in excess of $200 million in over 15 countries. He currently lives in Missouri with his family.
Cody Jones
Senior Cybersecurity Manager-CSMI
Cody Jones is the Senior Cybersecurity Manager at CSMI, specializing in strategic IT and cybersecurity solutions. He brings more than a decade of experience as Director of IT and Chief Information Security Officer for Jefferson County, Montana, where he managed secure network operations for hundreds of users across multiple government offices. His expertise spans cyber defense operations, network administration, security architecture, and federal cybersecurity compliance. Cody also serves in the U.S. Air Force as a Cyber Warfare Operator, with multiple overseas deployments leading communications teams responsible for mission-critical infrastructure and national defense. Cody holds a B.S. in Information Technology and Cyber Security from Columbia Southern University, CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications, and is a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) through the Cyber AB.
